Woodshire Wines is an independent UK wine merchant specialising in exceptional wines from outstanding producers around the world.

The company was founded in 2017 by John Hampshire and Peter Stallwood, both wine enthusiasts looking to build on their wine educations following success in WSET training courses, tasting experience and travel to great wine regions around the world.

The philosophy of the business is built around the belief that a curated selection of wines with quality, character and provenance should outweigh having the biggest selection and help to make great wines easier to discover.

Our journey since the early years has brought us to our current offering of premium wines from renowned producers such as Gaja, Biondi-Santi, Vega Sicilia, Henschke and more, delivering outstanding wines with enviable history and reputation.
