Join us as we step into the heart of northern Italy for a three-night journey combining historic Verona and the surrounding Valpolicella wine region — a destination where world-class wines, romantic history, and timeless beauty converge.
Your stay begins in Verona’s historic centre, where cobbled streets, the Roman arena, and open-air cafes set the stage for an unforgettable Italian escape. From this charming base, you’ll explore some of Italy’s most prestigious wineries, which may include Allegrini, Speri, Quintarelli, Bertani or Masi. Tastings will be expertly guided and will demonstrate the range of the region's wines comprising Amarone, Valpolicella Ripasso, Valpolicella Classico & Recioto wines.
Day 1 - After afternoon check-in at your hotel for the duration of the trip, the experience begins with a welcome wine tasting in Verona providing a relaxed introduction to the wines and terroir of the region. The evening and dinner will be at your leisure and we are able to share a range of recommendations if required.
Day 2 - Following breakfast at the hotel, you will be chauffeured to our first winery - Allegrini family winery - who have been producing wines in the Valpolicella Classico region since the 16th century. Here we will view the winery, vines and local village of San Giorgio - carved into he marble of the hills. A tasting of a portfolio of wines will follow. We will transfer to a hosted lunch in a local trattoria before your chauffeur returns you to the historic centre of Verona for you to enjoy the late afternoon at leisure.
Day 3 - After breakfast a visit to the widely acknowledged best producer of the region Quintarelli - will take place covering the history of the family and a tour of the winery and tasting of these iconic wines.
Lunch in the Negrar valley followed by a further wine tasting on our route back to Verona town centre. A dinner at one of Verona's well known wine restaurants takes place in the evening.
Day 4 - Following breakfast and the morning to check-out of your accommodation, opportunity to take a final walk and exploration of the city before departing.
We recommend flying into Verona (VRN) airport or for those wishing for more flexibility but with a slightly longer transfer the airports of Milan are ~2hours away.
